Learn How to download e-Books, audiobooks, and music from the library

Come to a class on how to use the new "Downloadable Media" service of the library. You can download e-Books, audiobooks, and music from KRL's electronic media collection to your computer and/or portable devices such as an iPod, Sony Reader, mp3 player, iPhone, etc. The class combines information with live demos on how to do it. There is also an opportunity to get help with your specific portable device with hands-on examples at the end of the class.

"Aguascalientes" with local author Kathleen Alcala

Aguacalientes: Where Mexico Parties, presented by Kathleen Alcala. One of the biggest parties in Mexico is Aguascaliertes. the Feria de San Marcos, held every April north of Mexico City is Mardi Gras and the county fair rollento one. From cock fights to voladores (flying performers), theatre to dance, there is something for everyone. Kathleen Alcala is the author of five books set in the Southwest and Mexico and is a resident of Bainbridge Island.
