Fred John Loase - Adult Fiction
Fred Loase, a retired high school teacher,
divides his time between the megalopolis of San Diego and Bainbridge's tranquil
island community. He is the author of
Chasing Redemption (2016),
a book about a troubled man who seeks redemption through the wish of his
dying mother to search for a mysterious being from his past. While chock full
of quirky suspense, action and thought-provoking twists, Loase’s narrative
ultimately focuses on the human condition’s innate need to seek forgiveness.
Loase also co-authored a non-fiction book and says he has written many short
stories that have been rejected by some of the finest magazines in
America. Additionally, he is a ceramic artist and shares a pottery studio
on the island.
