Nadeen Ruiz, Professor Emeritus Bilingual Multicultural Education, California State University, Sacramento, is a resident of Bainbridge Island. She and a colleague authored, Enhancing Multilingual Development (2026). "Whether shared in work settings or studied as a supplemental
