Suzanne Selfors - Children's Books, Juvenile Fiction
Suzanne Selfors is a highly respected children's book author who lives on Bainbridge Island. Her writing style has been compared to that of Roald Dahl. Selfors' works include To Catch A Mermaid (2009), Saving Juliet (2009), Coffeehouse Angel (2009) and Fortune's Magic Farm (2009), a story that features - surprise, surprise - a village where it never stops raining. Selfor's latest book Smells Like Dog (2010) is the story of 12-year old Homer Winslow Pudding and a sleuthing basset hound who get caught up in a treacherous race to locate a pirate's treasure. One reader says about Selfors' latest book: "... this is a winner for both kids and adults. I loved the character of Homer Pudding (who's far from perfect) and Dog, the basset hound who may not be able to herd goats, but who does have a really cool talent. ... A very funny book - about a very special dog." For more information on Suzanne Selfors go to http://www.suzanneselfors.com/.
